SŌW Plated aims to be the most sought-after dining destination in every community we proudly serve, offering world-class hospitality and an imaginative flavor-forward menu built on only the freshest, sustainably sourced ingredients – tightly interwoven by a 501c3 designed to provide education and support services benefitting mental health.
An estimated 46% of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition sometime during their life, and half of those people will develop conditions by the age of 14. Despite the undeniable scientific link between brain health and the food, nutrition is unfortunately often an unspoken word in the mental health conversation. SŌW Plated has created the Wall of Hope Foundation, a 501c3 aiming to be that break-through voice connecting food with mood. Driven by the passage, “We don’t know how far we’re able to walk until we push ourselves as far as we’re able to go,” we’re intent on carrying the flag for those most vulnerable in this community we call home. We candidly don’t know where this journey will ultimately take us, but we do know the starting line will forever rest in our immediate Tri-Village (Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington) backyard and will subsequently connect with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University. Much more exciting detail to share soon.
