Wall of Hope
Our Mission

The Wall of Hope Foundation will operate as a hyper-local movement speaking to the mental health conversation using evidence-based data connecting food with mood, the genesis of which is rooted in having the privilege to serve the freshest and highest quality meals to those individuals and families facing an immediate mental health emergency.

Good Food = Good Mood

An estimated 46% of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition during their lifetime.  Despite the undeniable scientific link between food and brain health, nutrition however is unfortunately an often-overlooked piece of a greater, very complicated mental health conversation.  The Wall of Hope Foundation aims to be that break-through voice connecting food with mood.  Driven by the passage, “We don’t know how far we’re able to walk until we push ourselves as far as we’re able to go,” we’re intent on carrying the flag for those most vulnerable in this place we call home.  We won’t predict where this this journey will ultimately take us, but the starting the will be our own backyard of the Tri-Village (Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington) extending outward to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Ohio State University and other “best-in-class” partners aligned with our vision.  One of life’s greatest privileges is the opportunity to serve others.  Stay tuned all summer long for announcements of our opening projects, and how you may join the movement.
